LAKEPORT ? The Taste of Lakeport is set for Friday in downtown Lakeport. Due to the popularity of the event more and more businesses want to participate. This year there will be 28 places to stop and sip Lake County wines and taste food from area restaurants and caterers. For those who like beer there is a beer stop for as well as a couple of water stops and something for coffee and tea-toddlers as well.
There will be Corvettes parked along the seven blocks to view and the LC Diamonds are performing for a perfect stroll on the streets of Lakeport.
When the tasting is over there will be music in the street and dancing to the JimmiZ Band of San Francisco. Following the Taste of Lakeport, there will be a raffle for many items that have been donated by merchants.
This event is presented by The Lakeport Main Street Association and Lake Event Design and Party Planning. The major event sponsors are: Coldwell Banker Towne & Country Real Estate, Hillside Honda, Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa, Makiivka Estate, Robinson Rancheria and Casino, the Savings Bank of Mendocino County, Bi-Coastal Media, and The Lake County Record- Bee.
Presale tickets are available at the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, The Kitchen Gallery, Hillside Honda, and Shari”s Secret Garden. Presale tickets are $25 and will go to $30 starting at noon on the day of the event. Designated drivers and children may attend for $10.
