I am amazed at the level of arrogance of our elected officials. I called my congressman again yesterday to see if he plans on having an open forum meeting in Lake County. I was told, by congressional staff, that no meetings of any kind are planned at this time.
Tell me, do you think Congressman Mike Thompson knows your views on health care reform or cap and trade? Do you think he should make an effort to hear us out, or just vote what he “feels is best for us” when he returns to Washington?
Please consider calling Congressman Thompson, ask him to come to Lake County and give us an opportunity to share our views. Give him a call in Napa at 707-226-9898. Ask him to come to Lake County … and, ask him again.
Then, remember the results of your request when you vote next year.
