LAKEPORT ? Judge Arthur Mann will retire from Department 3 of the Lake County Superior Court after 30 years as a judge.
“Although I am retiring, I am not quitting,” Mann said in press release.
He expects to work after he steps down Nov. 1 as a retired judge until a successor is selected.
Mann started his career as a judge of Kelseyville Justice Court in 1979. He worked as a Justice Court judge, a Municipal Court judge and a Superior Court judge.
“I will miss working with my fellow judges and court staff as much as I will miss being a judge,” Mann said.
He thanked judges and court employees as well as Lake County citizens for their support.
“Being a judge is the best possible profession that I can imagine, and I always look forward to going to work each day,” Mann said.
