Now that the show trial of an innocent man has ended in the exoneration of the victim Bismarck Dinius, it is time to have the real trial for the death of Lynn Thornton. Her death should not, and can not be simply swept under the rug. It is time for Deputy Sheriff Perdock to stand trial for her death, since he is the person responsible for killing her. It appears that the District Attorney Hopkins may be an accessory after the fact in her death as well, and could face charges himself for a wrongful prosecution, and possibly an accessory after the fact to the crime. Certainly, District Attorney Hopkins is no longer qualified to prosecute Deputy Sheriff Perdock, since his demonstration of prejudice in favor of Mr. Perdock.

Lynn Thornton deserves better than this. The evidence is there to convict Deputy Sheriff Perdock, and he absolutely should stand trial for his negligence that killed Ms. Thornton. Otherwise, justice has not been served.
