Today”s news media stated the federal deficit is projected to hit $9 trillion over the next decade.
The major portion of that is a result of the two Bush wars. But, I am losing faith in the current administration. I was hoping and praying that Obama would get our troops the hell out of those two countries.
We just lost one of the greatest humans ever, namely Ted Kennedy, who was 100-percent against the Iraq invasion.
I will never know why we are fighting the Taliban. Like Korea and Vietnam, this will never be a win situation.
If we ever get bin Laden, there are a dozen other American haters waiting to take his place.
Those countries have never been at peace and they never will be.
So why are we sticking our nose in the affairs of those nations? If we continue this fiasco, we will add to the tremendous loss of American lives, permanently suffering veterans, and financially burdening all Americans.
My heart bleeds for the future, our grandkids and great-grandkids will be facing, if we continue on the current path, instead of focusing on our country”s numerous major problems.
