COBB — The 27th annual Lake County Amateur Golf Championship takes place Oct. 3-4 at Adams Springs Golf Course on Cobb Mountain.
The $100 entry fee includes two rounds of golf, a Saturday luncheon at Adams Springs, the prize fund, trophies and tournament tee prizes.
The Amateur has divisions for men”s scratch and net golfers as well as flights for seniors and junior golfers.
Jonathan Carlson, a contestant in the U.S. Amateur and the U.S. Mid-Amateur, is the defending champion.
Entry deadline is Sept. 28. Entries can be picked up at area golf courses. Call John Berry at 279-0449 for more information.
The Lake County Amateur is a player-point event on the Lake County Amateur Golf Circuit and is a fundraiser for Lake County Junior Golf.
