LAKEPORT — Lake County Arts Council”s Art in the Park and Children”s Creative Art Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Library Park in Lakeport.
Ever wanted to draw on a sidewalk? If so, join pastel artists of all ages and talents as they ransform the sidewalks into colorful and imaginative designs and paintings. Little Deer and his group of musicians will play in the Gazebo from 10 a.m. to noon, and Don Coffin accompanied by Jill Shaul, Sarah Tichava and Anna McAtee will be playing in the afternoon.
This is an open day for artists to display their work and exhibit their talents. Meanwhile, children”s activities will be taking place under the guidance of Kerry Braider of the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County”s religious education program. Face painting, playing with clay and painting will all be part of this day of family fun.
