WILLITS — Lorenzo Johnson rushed for 143 yards and Marcus Anaya scored two touchdowns as the junior varsity Kelseyville Chiefs beat Willits 20-13 in Pop Warner football action on Saturday in Willits.
Quarterback Logan Barrick added another touchdown.
Tyler Riewerts anchored the Kelseyville defense with six tackles and a fumble recovery. Jason Bardelmeier and Nick Phann each had four tackles. Derrick Aragon added a sack and Devin Dugger intercepted a Willits pass.
Kelseyville (2-0) opened its season with a 20-7 win over Fort Bragg on Sept. 12 in Fort Bragg. Johnson rushed for 159 yards on 11 carries.
