I am 12-years-old and I just wanted to send in this letter about how many animals get euthanized every year and speaking from the experience of having to have my horses euthanized, I think we should come together and get the dog pounds and people who deal with the wild horses to convert to a no-kill policy.
Please, I am begging you to help me out with this. People love their animals that go to the dog pound everyday, but they euthanize them before they get a chance to get them back.
Think about little kids with cats and dogs that get loose and the dog pound takes them and they can”t get them back before they kill them. All I am asking is for you to bring it to their attention and get them to stop.
