CLOVERDALE — Middletown”s night went from bad to worse on Tuesday in a 25-16, 25-13, 25-10 North Central League I interlock varsity volleyball loss to the Cloverdale Eagles in Cloverdale.

Starter Haley Tall-man sprained her ankle on point three of the first game and will likely be out for some time, according to coach Jennifer Breiner.

“She didn”t break it, but it was bad,” Breiner said.

The rest of Middle-town”s night wasn”t much better.

“It was a rough game, we couldn”t pull anything together,” Breiner said.

Kayla Robinson had four kills and three blocks for the Mustangs, Jenny McGee added four kills, and Angela Gattoni had two kills and four blocks.
