LOWER LAKE — Does Lake County have talent? Yes, and one proof of that talent is from last year”s Lower Lake High School (LLHS) Renaissance Dinner.

The “Lake County Has Talent” contest is for all residents of Lake County. Students of all ages are especially encouraged to apply. The application deadline is Oct. 16 and the non-refundable application fee is $10.

An applicant may ask a sponsor for a $25, $50 or $100 sponsorship in lieu of the $10 application fee.

LLHS is hosting the event at 6 p.m. Oct. 31 in the auditorium. Prizes include a $150 grand prize, $100 first runner-up and $75 second runner-up. Admission is $20 for a family or $10 per adult and $5 per student.

Admission to Halloween carnival is free although there are ticket fees for individual carnival events. Applications for the talent show/contest may be picked up at Lower Lake High School Attendance Office from Peggy or Clearlake City Hall front desk from Julie. Proceeds go to the LLHS music program and PEG Channel TV8.
