CLEARLAKE? The Clearlake Police Department (CPD) issued a missing person”s announcement for an at-risk adult. According to the CPD, Suzanne Sears, 49, has been missing since Oct. 7.
Sears is described as a white female adult with brown hair and brown eyes. She is five feet two inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. She was last seen in the area of Davis and Lenore avenues in Clearlake. According to the CPD, Sears walked away from her Clearlake residence east of Highway 53 on Oct. 7 wearing only a yellow T-shirt and pink shorts. It is believed that she was not wearing shoes, did not have any money and did not take her purse.
“(Sears) has a history of prescription drug abuse and was heavily medicated at the time she was last seen,” the CPD stated. “Sears has a history of mental health issues and takes medication for these conditions. According to a relative, Sears will have started having withdrawal symptoms from the pain medications.”
