The Pacific storm swept through Northern California Tuesday causing the weather service to issue wind and flood warnings. The National Weather Service forecasted rain showers and gusty winds to decrease today as the storm system moves east.
Heavy rain put recently burned land at risk for debris flows, the weather service reported. Rain also caused minor flooding and slippery road conditions. Wind gusts from 20 mph to 40 mph can down trees and power lines, cause property damage and make driving difficult.
