KELSEYVILLE — Pro Randy McAbee Jr. of Bakersfield caught a five-bass limit weighing 23 pounds, 4 ounces Thursday to retain the lead in the Walmart FLW Series Western Division bass tournament on Clear Lake.
His two-day total stands at 46-7.
McAbee Jr. now holds a 5-pound lead over second-place pro Jared Lintner of Arroyo Grande, who managed to haul in a total of 10 bass weighing 41-7 during the first two days of competition.
Michael Tuck of Antelope is third with 40-12.
Jimmy Reese (39-10) made one of the biggest jumps in round two, jumping from 25th overall to seventh in the pro division.
Tommy Cardoza of Lakeport is ninth with 38-5.
First-round leader Mark Smith of Dana Point continues to lead the co-angler division with 47-8.
