FORT BRAGG — Kayla Robinson”s 19 kills and two blocks led the way for the Middletown Mustangs in a 25-23, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18 win over Fort Bragg in North Central League I North varsity volleyball action on Tuesday in Fort Bragg.
“We played very well,” Middletown coach Jennifer Breiner said. “I was happy with it.”
Haley Tallman added eight kills and five aces and Morgan D”Amico had four kills and a team-best nine aces for the Mustangs, who improved to 3-2 in the North standings. Sara Tucker added 24 assists, one kill and one ace.
At the conclusion of Tuesday”s action, Willits leads the league at 4-1, Lower Lake is 4-2, Middletown is 3-2 and Kelseyville 3-3. Fort Bragg is the only team out of the running at 0-6.
Middletown has league matches remaining against Kelseyville, Willits and Lower Lake.
The Mustangs are home tonight to play Pacific Union.
