Why was there no rebuttal on my ballot? This measure is a major push by fireworks venders for profit. Lakeport already banned local fireworks because they are hazardous. Most other areas already banned them.
If fireworks are allowed again in Lakeport, crowds of people from other areas will come here to do their fireworks. We don”t have enough police and firemen to monitor possible illegal fireworks. The last time we had fireworks it was like a war zone here for days.
Instead of burning up your money, donate it to kids” programs. Don”t play with fire, please vote no on C!
