MIDDLETOWN — Playing their final home match of the season, seven Middletown High School seniors helped the Mustangs go out in style with a 25-17, 25-21, 26-24 non-league varsity volleyball victory over Pacific Union of Angwin.

Kayla Robinson, Sara Tucker, Jenny McGee, Alexis Rock-well, Morgan D”Amico, Stephanie Schwinn and Haley Tallman appeared on the Middletown court one final time and played well in the process, according to coach Jennifer Breiner.

“I”m going to miss all of them,” Breiner said. “It”s a good group of kids. They”re dedicated and fun to be around. It”s rough to lose them.”

Robinson had seven kills, five blocks and three aces to lead the Mustangs and D”Amico added six kills and seven blocks. McGee also had six kills and Tucker, the Mustangs” setter, contributed 19 assists and four aces.

“They were a really good team,” Breiner said of Pacific Union. “It was a fun match.”
