Well, once again CalTrans over-fixed something. The I-beam that was cracked held as fixed, however, the support built to help relieve stress collapsed!
The patch held the bridge and the CalTrans extra support fell down. The bridge is safe as long as CalTrans picks up their extras.
Watch the news? Forty or 50 workers on the deck, two crane operators and two welders. What”s that all about? They sure weren”t flagging traffic. The road was closed.
