Everyone, especially women, take notice that a couple of days ago a government task force said that women in their 40s should stop routinely having annual mammograms and women 50 and over should cut back to one exam every other year. They also said that self-exams do no good and women should not be taught to do them. Can you believe this nonsense? I personally had two friends who were diagnosed with breast cancer one year after an “all clear” mammogram.

As far as I see it, this is just the beginning of what it would be like with government-run health care, and they are making sure they are getting a running start at that “hope and change” we heard so much about during the campaign. This is the precursor to rationing health care and tests. What”s next ? we don”t need a colonoscopy until we are in our 80s? For the people who don”t keep up with politics in general, this should be a warning signal about what could be coming under this administration. Start getting informed, because this is just a needle in the haystack compared to the overall nonsense coming out of Washington these days.

I beg everyone to please, please, start paying attention on a daily basis to the real “creep factor,” as I call it, coming out of D.C. Stay on your elected representatives and voice your opinions. By the way, contrary to some popular, uninformed beliefs, you can get good, honest debate about issues on the Fox news channel, and information that you will never hear or see anywhere else in the media.
