WALNUT CREEK — Joe Taylor and Forrest Davis carried the Lower Lake High varsity boys” basketball team to a 72-58 win over John Swett of Crockett on Friday in the first-round of the round-robin Berean Christian Touranment at Walnut Creek.
Taylor had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Trojans (2-0), who trailed by as many as 11 in the third quarter. Davis finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds.
Lower Lake plays Berean Christian tonight at 8 p.m.
