CLEARLAKE ? The Clearlake City Council will meet for a regular meeting 6 p.m. today at Clearlake City Hall. Members of the public may comment on any agenda item under discussion.

Public comment provides citizens an opportunity to speak for three minutes on any topic of choice as well.

Consent Calendar items, which are considered to be non-controversial and will be acted upon as one, include: payment of bills; approval of minutes; monthly reports by the grant, police, finance, city clerk and public works departments; consideration of the Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Fund (SLESF) grant; consideration of adoption of regulations for small wind energy systems; audited redevelopment agency and city financial statements and auditor”s reports for fiscal year ended June 30, 2009; consideration of participating in a financing program for alternative energy and energy efficiency projects; and consideration of adoption of a resolution approving the proposed project for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program.

Business items include:

?Appointment of the 2010 mayor and vice mayor.

?Public hearing to consider an ordinance establishing a temporary moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries. (Item will be continued to Dec. 17.)

?Public hearing to consider the abandonment of a right-of-way located on APN No. 010-043-25 (15885 Dam Road Extension).

?Consideration of sending a resolution of support for the Local Taxpayer, Public Safety and Transportation Act of 2010 to the League of California Cities.

?Consideration of the revitalization of Lakeshore Drive.

?Public hearing to consider the amendment of Article 18-1, Administration, and the non-conforming provisions of the zoning ordinance.

Regular agenda items also include reports by the city administrator and members of the council. Staff reports for each agenda item are available for review at City Hall, 14050 Olympic Drive, during regular business hours.
