In response to Melissa Fulton”s article Dec. 9, my comments were not directed at the Lake County Chamber but only to point out that local business should support local business as well as their patrons.
It”s hypocritical and wrong not to do so and then ask for support. They do have the option to refuse work performed on their projects by out-of-towners, especially projects that are supported by our tax dollars.
Congratulations to Dave Borg at European Performance for refusing the services of an out-of-towner and shame on others for allowing out-of-town services to provide blueprints for their design and remodel work.
