LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Board of Supervisors will consider amending the ordinance establishing a fee-based inspection program for water vessels at 10:40 a.m. today at its meeting.
The supervisors will address many other issues when they meet 9 a.m. in the County Courthouse at 255. N. Forbes St. in Lakeport.
Board members will consider approving the repair of the Courthouse elevator that has been out of service for months.
The board will discuss sending a letter to the California Department of Food and Agriculture requesting and independent review of the hydrilla eradication effort in the county.
During a 10:30 a.m. public hearing, the supervisors will consider applying for a grant for designs to improve the sidewalk along Highway 20 in Nice.
