Having never missed a golf tournament that Tiger played in and never watched a tournament that he was not in, this news of his taking a break from playing PGA golf is very sad. I can”t measure the enjoyment of watching such a talented sports person perform, offering the inner excitement that Babe Ruth, Joe Lewis, Bobby Jones and very few others brought to those who lived when they too shared their brilliant careers with the world.
The media”s thrust to highlight his very personal problems for ratings may just backfire on it. It will cause the loss of more jobs in a time when such losses just add to the misery of so many more at this moment in time.
I hope he will be able to mend the problems his personal actions have caused him and maybe some day he will return to bringing the level of enjoyment to so many of us, as he did in the past.
