Christmas Basket Fund reaches $19,427

LAKE COUNTY — A collaborative effort between Lake County Publishing, the Lakeport Rotary Club, Bruno”s Shop Smart, Umpqua banks, WestAmerica banks, Lake Family Resource Center and Lake County Community Action Agency provides Christmas baskets to those in need during the holidays in Lake County. Donations received Wednesday are as follows:

? The staff of the Housing Office donated $50.

? Steve and Janine Citron donated $50.

? Robert K. Walker donated $100 in memory of Dave Walker.

? Ann donated $25.

? Harbin Hot Springs donated $200 and offered happy holiday greetings to all.

? Merry Christmas from Jeff and Jackie Hansen who donated $200.

?Mom and Grandma donated $30 in loving memory of Diedre and Nathan.

?Domick and Terry Mercurio and family donated $10 in memory of Marie Anderson.

?Dominick and Terry Mercurio donated $10 in memory of Sally Waddel.

?Merry Christmas to all from the Clearlake Clikkers who donated $100.

?Larry and Arlene Torrey donated $25 in memory of their niece, Leigh Anne Wilson.

?Merry Christmas from BOSCO with a $200 donation.

The Christmas Basket Program is in its 25th year. A total of 1,200 baskets will be distributed, 600 to the Northshore and 600 to the Southshore. Anyone wishing to contribute to the Christmas basket program may bring or mail contributions in to any branch of Umpqua or WestAmerica banks. Checks should be written out to Lake County Christmas Fund. The donation and holiday message will be noted in both the Lake County Record-Bee and the Clear Lake Observer-American. Please look for the gnome symbol for information relating to the program.
