This is a letter concerning Congressman Mike Thompson and Senators Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein”s stance on the subject of healthcare.

I continue to be amazed at each of your positions on this 2,100 page debacle of drafted legislation that very few people know anything about. This massive paged bill is going to be a nightmare for decades to come and for what purpose. It has been milked down by bribes, payoff”s pork spending and other backdoor deals to get cooperation from persons who are holding out. What a mess. It needs to be scrapped, period. There continues to be no tort reform, which is what should be a primary inclusion necessary to hold costs down. But instead it is totally absent. Get out of the Lawyers Guild”s back pockets and show some guts about this.

Scrap this program, which is not even close to giving to those uninsured as it allegedly started out to do. Those figures have been inflated and the public knows it and you are risking your legacy on a piece of legislation that is ugly. It needs to be dumped and replaced by legislation that will control and define what private sector insurance companies will do, such as; cover pre-existing conditions, sales across state lines for competition, get rid of fraud and theft in the Medicare and other areas, no word at all about this topic, and to clear the air of a piece of 2,100 page legislation that is going to bankrupt this country and weaken it perhaps forever. You know this and are doing nothing about it. Shame on you all. “We The People….” are not being listened to.

Elections are coming and although you may get lucky, do you want to take that chance?

No public option period. I don”t want more government in my life.
