COBB — Southlake County Fire Protection District/CALFIRE responded to a structure fire in the Cobb Mountain area Monday following a report that came in at 3:21 p.m. The first unit arrived on scene at approximately 3:34 p.m. and advised light smoke showing from the residence, which was located on the 11700 block of Gifford Springs Road.
CalStar responded and transported one civilian via air ambulance for burn injuries to the arm. Fire suppression response was rendered by fire engine companies from the Cobb Mountain station as well as from the Middletown station.
The fire was reported “knocked down” at 3:40 p.m. with smoke evacuation efforts to continue. Command on the incident was terminated at 5:01 p.m.
