I agree with Jaxan Christensen”s letter in the Record-Bee on Dec. 22. Representative Thompson apparently spends far too much time at his lavish vineyard in Washington state.

Mr. Thompson has also successfully evaded my questions. During the energy crisis gas was over $4 per gallon. He decided to return to his vineyard and, as usual, do absolutely nothing. His answer to me was in a craftily worded, long letter answering nothing but, by God, he signed it with his personal letter signing machine. I will treasure it forever.

When the “tea baggers” were afoot he did the responsible thing. His town meeting was by phone with his friends. They addressed him with the familial Mike. How touching.

He is a professional politician and has been on the dole long enough. It is time for Mike to go.
