All November and December I heard the mantra “Shop locally.” Forget about it the discount store products are not my cup of tea.
Try and buy clothes and shoes in Lake County, there is no selection and if you happen upon something the price is usually not great.

Any time something new wants to come in here. Oh no! We can”t have that. Let”s make it so difficult for small and large businesses to open up here that they go away.

It took almost a year or maybe longer to hook up the stop lights at the intersection by the new Rite-Aid. The lights have been there but they are not turned on.

We have seven or eight school districts for Lake County where one would be enough and save a ton of money.
I think that is enough for now. There has got to be a way to keep our rural flavor and allow businesses to come here and provide us with goods and services. Competition is a good thing, although some businesses might not think so.
