NICE — Lights of Love, a dinner/dance fundraiser for Upper Lake High School stadium lights, takes place Feb. 13 at the Sons of Italy building on Highway 20 in Nice.
Sponsored by the Upper Lake High School Booster Club, the dinner/dance will help raise money for the installation of lights at Lake County”s only unlit high school football field. Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There is also an indoor poker run and silent auction. The Jim Williams band will provide music for dancing from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The buffet-style menu consists of tri-tip or Chicken Cordon Bleu, green beans almandine, garlic mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, dinner rolls and red velvet cake. Beer or wine will be available. Tickets are $25 each or you may reserve a table for eight for $250.
The Upper Lake High School Boosters club is currently selling tickets and soliciting contributions for the silent auction. Donations are appreciated.
