CLEARLAKE –The discovery of seven 55-gallon drums of waste oil illegally dumped on Spruce Grove Road was made Friday. Approximately 45 gallons were lost. The road was closed from 7:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. while Hazmat cleanup and removal efforts were under way. Lake County Fire Protection District, Lake County Environmental Health, Lake County Public Works and California Highway Patrol Clear Lake area are investigating.
