LAKE COUNTY — County roads closed Tuesday because of flooded creeks and downed trees and phone lines from the ongoing series of storms bringing wind and rain to Lake County.

The low water crossing on Bell Hill Road at Adobe Creek in the Kelseyville area is closed because of high creek flows.

Bob Barker, who lives on Adobe Creek Road, said it”s dangerous to cross the road when Adobe Creek overflows.

“It”s going to take you over,” Barker said. “You can”t ride through there.”

Bottle Rock Road from Sulphur Creek to Highway 175 in the Kelseyville area closed to traffic because of a downed tree and phone lines.

In the Middletown area, Rose Anderson Road from Maria Vista Road to Van Dorn Reservoir Road is also closed to traffic because of a downed pole and lines across the road.

The low water crossing on Dry Creek Cutoff at Dry creek is closed for high creek flows.

Holdenreid Road at Hill Creek continues to be closed for bridge failure.

Storm damage repair on Sulphur Bank Drive at mile marker 1.94 will continue through mid-May. Traffic will be closed one way from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and may cause 15-minute delays.

Pavement rehabilitation and accessibility improvements will be made on Main Street between Highway 20 and Second Street in Upper Lake. Traffic may occasionally be controlled to a single lane from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays causing 20-minute delays.

Bridge Arbor Road four-tenths of a mile from Highway 29 in the Upper Lake area is closed due to bridge failure.
