LUCERNE ? The swine flu shot clinic at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center will be held more than a week after originally scheduled due to repairs of the center.
The swine flu, or H1N1, vaccination clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 9 at the center, the Lake County Health Services Department reported.
The health department updated the list for free public health vaccination clinics.
In Middletown, from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday the Calpine Visitor Center will have a clinic at 15500 Central Park Road. People are encouraged to come at a time scheduled for the first letter of their last name, 1 to 2 p.m. for A to H; 2 to 3 p.m. for I to P; and 3 to 4 p.m. for Q to Z.
In Lucerne, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 9 the Lucerne Senior Center at 3985 Country Club Drive will have a clinic. People with last names starting with A to H should come from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; I to P should come from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.; and Q to Z should come between 2 and 3 p.m. Lake County Public Health at 922 Bevins Court in Lakeport will provide the vaccine on a walk-in basis from 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays until further notice.
Additional clinics may be scheduled.
People can also check with their doctor, clinic or local pharmacist in order to get vaccinated.
