The answer to Greg Blinn”s letter of Jan. 14, wanting to know where are the second set of Ten Commandments ? they are inside the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark of the Covenant was placed inside the sanctuary that Moses built, however I believe the ark has not been found yet.
Also inside the ark is the pot of manna and Aaron”s budding rod. The sanctuary was built so God could dwell among His people (Exodus 25:8). Also, Numbers 17 is about Aaron”s rod and Hebrews 9:4 describes what is in the ark. The cross references to Hebrews 9:4 are Exodus 16:33, Numbers 17:10, Exodus 25:16 and Deuteronomy 10:2,5. There are many verses and cross references on this subject and whether you are reading through the whole Bible or trying to understand Daniel and Revelation, it is very important to also understand the sanctuary and it”s services. There”s an excellent article at www.remnantofgod.org titled “The sanctuary of the creator God.” Search the site using the title. This article also describes why these items were placed in the ark. Also, I am positive you can find information at www.amazingfacts.org about the sanctuary.
