LAKE COUNTY –The Lake County Board of Supervisors will have a public hearing 1:30 p.m. today on rezoning and an appeal of the final environmental impact report for the Cristallago subdivision and golf course development.
If the board approves rezoning and denies the Sierra Club Lake Group”s appeal, the Cristallago Development Corporation can move forward to design the specifics of the project north of Lakeport.
The development would have to go back to the Lake County Planning Commission for approval for a specific and phased plan.
The project includes 650 houses, a golf course and clubhouse, a community center, a spa, a restaurant, a conference facility, nature preserve and 325 resort units including timeshares and a hotel. The Cristallago development would be on Hill Road and Scotts Valley Road north of Lakeport.
The board will address a number of other issues at its meeting starting 9 a.m. today in the County Courthouse at 255 N. Forbes St. in Lakeport.
The California Department of Food and Agriculture will present a report on hydrilla eradication in Clear Lake scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
The board will discuss ongoing sewage spills in the Southeast Regional Wastewater Collection System.
