In a recent letter to the editor, it was stated that the county did not respond to a pesticide spray complaint that happened on Scotts Valley Road. It is unknown which county office was contacted but, unfortunately, it was not the Agriculture Department, which is responsible for implementing state laws and regulations regarding spray drift. In the future, if you have any concerns, questions, or comments regarding pesticide use, please contact the Agriculture Department at 263-0217.
