When driving through farm or Ag (agriculture) land and you come upon a large plume of spray, slow down, allow spray to dissipate and proceed along your journey. This is a farmer attempting to make a living. In the summer months when you see a large piece of farm equipment hauling bins of pears, or a hay combine going 15 mph, slow down, pass when safe to do so and tip your hat at the driver. Courtesy is part of living in the country.
Oh yes, in the summer months when we are disking and cultivating the ground for planting next year”s crop, you will encounter large plumes of “dust.” If you drive your city car through the dust it will get dirty and I will not wash it, so don”t ask. Be sure to roll your windows up all the way so your dog doesn”t get dust in his eyes. In the country common sense goes a long ways.
