LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Board of Supervisors will continue deliberation at 9:45 a.m. today on the Sierra Club Lake Group”s appeal of the Cristallago development”s certified final environmental impact report.
The board heard public comment on the appeal Jan. 26 but Supervisor Denise Rushing asked for time to consider what she heard to make a decision.
The Cristallago development would include 650 houses, 325 resort units, a golf course and more on Hill Road north of Lakeport.
The board will also consider a moratorium of sewer hookups to the Southeast Regional Wastewater Collection System, which could prevent Lowe”s from building on the Clearlake airport property. The system collects and treats sewage from Pirates Cove north of Clearlake to Lower Lake. The sewer system in the area has been overcapacity for years, causing sewage spills diluted by rainwater.
The Women”s Protective Club of Upper Lake will make a presentation about the Upper Lake town clock at 9:40 a.m.
The board will also consider establishing fines and fees for the County Library during a public hearing scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
