SONOMA COUNTY ? Former Lake County man and Lower Lake High School alumnus Bryan Scobey, 35, will be extradited to Sonoma County to face charges related to his disappearance last month. According to Sonoma County Sheriff Detective S. Murphy, Scobey will face several felony charges.
Scobey was reported missing on Jan. 13. The missing person”s status was lifted when sheriff investigators learned that Scobey had traveled to Yreka and later to Reno, NV. He allegedly sold or bartered items, including a service vehicle, belonging to his place of employment, The Hitmen Termite and Pest Control.
Scobey was arrested in Reno on Feb. 3 on a fugitive from justice warrant. Det. Murphy said Scobey will be extradited back to Sonoma County where he will face felony charges of vehicle theft, grand theft and possession of stolen property.
