LAKEPORT ? Karan Mackey will present the history of the Lakeport English Inn and its connection to the courthouse at the Lake County Historical Society meeting next weekend.
The meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Lakeport Historic Courthouse Museum at 255 Main St. in Lakeport with tour of the museum following the meeting.
The society will serve donated refreshments and ask people to bring their favorite cookies or cake and a friend or two to enjoy an afternoon of Lake County History.
A $1 donation per family is requested to offset the cost of renting the museum.
