UPDATED:

It is with tremendous sadness that I read about the tragic car accident on Highway 20 that took the life of my good friend Glenn Roe. Glenn was the owner/director of Convenant Supportive Living, an agency dedicated to providing services to the developmentally disabled. He lived in north Lakeport.

I first met Glenn about four years ago, along with a Redwood Coast Regional Center representative in charge of my daughter Kristin. She was a resident at the Sonoma State Developmental Center. After many meetings it was decided that Kristin could be in the community of Ukiah and have a much fuller life. Since her new life in Ukiah began 2.5 years ago she is a much happier person ? thanks to Glenn Roe. He was responsible for hiring her staff, arranging living accommodations and a daytime “opportunities unlimited program.” He even took his clients camping every summer, as well as to musical events, parties, training et all. Glenn brought a brighter future to all his clients and I shall always be grateful for his role in changing my daughter”s life.

We have lost a wonderful and caring person. We will miss him dearly.
