CLEARLAKE — The Clearlake City Council/Redevelopment Agency will resume its discussion at 6 p.m. today of the proposed development of the RDA”s airport property.
Items to be discussed included include: (1) whether to certify the draft mitigated negative declaration/initial environmental study in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act; (2) authorize the executive director to execute the draft disposition and development agreement; (3) authorize the executive director to execute the land exchange agreement with the adjoining property owner to the south; (4) approving the disposition and development agreement between the Clearlake Redevelopment Agency and KK Raphel Properties, LLC and authorizing the city administrator and city clerk to execute the agreement; and (5) abandonment of part of right-of-way for Airport Road.
A presentation by Ralph Martinelli, chief traffic safety officer with Caltrans District 1, on the planned Olympic Drive/Highway 53 intersection improvements leads the evening”s agenda.
The public may comment on any agenda item under discussion. The public is also afforded an opportunity to comment on any item not on the evening”s agenda during the public comment period.
