There is absolutely no, (as in zero, zip, zilch, nada), evidence of any participation by any PR firm, right wing or otherwise in the very legitimate grassroots effort known as the Tea Party movement. Despite the fact that the so-called mainstream media has largely ignored them, they have become a potent force in current political activity. They are, in fact, a spontaneous uprising of ordinary, freedom loving Americans who are fed up with the present administration”s efforts to destroy this great country.
The only thing Mr. Goodman got right in his letter titled “The Tea Party formula” in the Feb. 23 Record-Bee was his assertion that the Democratic effort to reform our health care system is “pathetic.” However he mis-characterized it as a “Band-Aid on a crisis.” No “crisis” exists. We enjoy the best health care on the planet.
This is just an attempt by progressives to take advantage of a manufactured crisis to manipulate us into a government takeover of 18 percent of the American economy and taking control of even more of our lives and turning the United States into a European-style socialist democracy instead of the constitutional republic we are designed to be.
