UPPER LAKE — Darryl Cattani”s 24 points led the Upper Lake High School alumni squad to an 83-80 overtime win over the varsity Cougars in a fundraiser basketball game on Friday night in Upper Lake.
“We had a nice crowd,” Upper Lake coach Forrest Stogner said. “Fifteen alumni guys showed up.”
Elias Santana had 10 points for the alumni team, Dalton Steptoe added nine and James DeVries had eight.
Brandon Bills led the Cougars with 23 points, Billy Armstrong added 16 and Mike Cox had 12.
Tied 80-80 at the end of regulation, the alumni scored the only three points in the overtime.
