Board of Supervisors
The Lake County Board of Supervisors convened as the Lake County Sanitation District will receive an update on emergency action it took to improve the Southeast Regional Wastewater Collection System during the meeting starting 9 a.m. today.
The Board will address a number of issues at its meeting in the County Courthouse at 255 N. Forbes St. in Lakeport.
Board members will consider a resolution to amend the information technology position and an effective date for the new information technology director.
The board will also discuss bylaws and accomplishments of the Lake County Child Care Planning Council starting 9:15 a.m.
Lakeport City Council
The Lakeport City Council will consider authorizing the exemption of a hiring freeze to fill positions that can be funded through the Subsidized Employment Program during its meeting starting 6 p.m. today.
Council members will address a number of other issues at the meeting in City Council Chambers at 225 Park St. in Lakeport.
Bill Irwin will present the council with a low-income housing proposal.
The Public Works director will give the council and update on the status of Measure I projects.
Officer Amanda Coffman will take the oath of office for the Lakeport Police Department.
