KELSEYVILLE — No injuries were reported in a fire that damaged a residential structure on Cruichshank Road southeast of Kelseyville Tuesday. Kelseyville Fire Protection District (KFPD) Engineer Scott Crawford said that suppression efforts spared approximately two-thirds of the home.
Units responded to the 4300 block of Cruickshank Road for a single-story structure fire at approximately 10:34 a.m. Tuesday. Crawford said the fire was heavily involved upon arrival. Response included two KFPD engines, a battalion chief and seven personnel. Lakeport Fire provided mutual aid with en engine and two personnel. California Highway Patrol provided traffic control. PG&E also responded for lines downed in the incident.
The suppression and cleanup effort took approximately two hours, Crawford said.
There were no occupants in the house and no injuries were reported. Crawford said that no other structures were threatened in the fire, for which the cause remains under investigation.
