LAKE COUNTY –The Lake County Board of Supervisors will discuss options in the investigation of possible misappropriations of public funds for helicopter training for a sheriff officer scheduled for 10 a.m. today.
Board members will meet at 9 a.m. in the County Courthouse at 255 N. Forbes St. in Lakeport where they will discuss a number of issues.
The board will consider a finding of facts on the appeal of the Sierra Club Lake Group of the Planning Commission”s final certification for the environmental impact report of the Cristallago development.
Board members will consider an ordinance and rules related to the Southeast Regional Wastewater System that has been having sewage spills diluted by rainwater for years. The board will discuss sending letters to the state and federal agencies requesting funding for research on earthquakes related to the Geysers geothermal field and how to mitigate the effects. Board members will consider licensing and enforcement for the tobacco control program, scheduled for 10:45 a.m.
The board will present a proclamation designating April as Child Abuse Prevention Month and the Month of the Young Child in Lake County.
