UPDATED:

President Obama”s interview by the Fox propaganda machine was a disgraceful display of partisan hubris. The ignorant questions asked by the interviewer were not meant to inform the audience about the health care bill”s content or it”s effect on the populace. He failed to ask one question about the content of the bill. Instead, the ill-mannered boor practically demanded that the president stick to Fox”s daily talking points which happened (that day) to be the process by which the Congress would handle the health bill. Fox”s bucket of swill for the day was intended to invigorate the mob to new heights of frenzy, certainly not meant to enlighten anyone.

The president can”t tell the Congress what to do. The president is supposed to be in charge of the administrative branch of the government, while the House and Senate make up the legislative branch. The House and Senate have their leadership and they decide on how they will handle legislation.

The right wing talking points, as usual, are meant to excite the mob whether true or not. In this case they want their groupies to accept that the process called “deem and pass” is an arcane trick to get around the law. This same process has been used hundreds of times by both parties since 1933. The uncultured clod interrupted the president 20 or 30 times between every two or three words, not allowing the president to answer if the answer did not conform to what Fox wanted to push. Fox News is an embarrassment.
