LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Board of Supervisors will consider a request for authorization to pursue potential purchase of property located on Lakeshore Drive in Clearlake for mental health programs as part of non-timed items on its agenda. The meeting today begins at 9 a.m. at the County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes Street in Lakeport.
The board will also make a presentation at 9:15 a.m. proclaiming Russell Gonzaga as Lake County Poet Laureate, which will be followed a presentation proclaiming April as Domestic Violence Awareness Month; April 20 as Sexual Assault Awareness Month Day of Action; April 21 as Denim Day; and April 18 through 24 as National Victims Rights Week in Lake County.
Also on today”s agenda is an update on the proposed Floating Island Demonstration Project as well as consideration of a request to award a bid in the amount of $882,160 to North Bay Construction for the Soda Bay Rehabilitation and Overlay project.
