I am not happy about the water rate increase here in Lucerne. I received my water bill and it was almost doubled. I thought that the upgrade in the water company came from federal government funds and not from the customers.
I don”t mind the rate increase, but not 100 percent. When you are on a limited income, this is very hard to take. There should be a law setting the amount of increase, like on rent control.
